End Of Project: Conclusion

Overall, I believe my project was a success, as at the beginning in my proposal, I set myself a set of questions, which If I could answer them all positively, then I would know that I had chosen the right career path.

As you can see, from my check list above, a teacher training degree is the right career path for me to be taking as it is going to leave me in a happy, comfortable position for the future. Regrettably I was not able to complete my work experience that I had organised to complete during my project, due to postal issues of my certificate. However, I have organised further work experience at Heworth Grange Comprehensive for a later date, as I require it for my application process for my training degree, which thanks to my project, I have already began the application process for, as well as having my professional skills tests booked. I plan to work on getting a summer job working with young people and gain more experience in schools to add to my application, as well as continue on my research after my project, as due to the limited work count, I was unable to include other research such as looking into the national curriculum for drama, as well as start looking into how I can develop as a teacher, before the beginning of the course. I also plan to look into the teacher standards and how to apply them to my teaching.
